The MPSC conduct of competitive exams to various government posts in the Maharashtra circle. One such important recruitment is the MPSC Combined Group B Examination, also known as the MPSC Non-Gazetted Combined Group B 2020.
This exam is conducted to recruit candidates for key non-gazetted Class 2 posts, including:
- PSI (Police Sub-Inspector)

1. When was the Preliminary Exam held?
The Prelims was originally scheduled for March 15, 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was finally conducted on October 11, 2020.
2. When was the Main Exam held?
The Main (Descriptive) Exam was held on March 20 and 21, 2021.
3. Why were the exams delayed?
The entire schedule was significantly disrupted due to the nationwide lockdowns and restrictions imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
4. What was the exam pattern?
The selection process had two stages:
Preliminary Exam (Objective MCQs – Qualifying)

The final selection was based solely on the marks obtained in the Main Examination (out of 300). The Prelims was only a screening test.
